If people complain about the lack of stuff in game remember that civ rev is much older and meant for people that are new to civ

I thoroughly enjoyed this game, until installing iOS 7. Now it crashes after a few turns every time I play. Waiting for an update or iOS patch to fix it.

You cant play ten minutes without it crashing. Emailed support 3 times with no response. Save your money.

Love this game but it keeps crashing every other turn!! So frustrating!!! Also, game doesnt always update the Game Center.

Ok, so I start up the game, pick one of the like- 5 leaders, and about 30 seconds in, Im COMPLETELY confused. I love civ 5. I love brave new world. I hate the mobile version.

After recent iOS update it crashes midway through game. Waiting for it to get fixed but I guess thats not gonna happen anytime soon.

This game is graphically challenged, and looks cheap. Its not equal to civilization gold edition. I would not recommend buying it.

Had thousands of troops and not one of them killed their troops!!!! Not exaggerating at all!!!!!

Enjoy the game. It is a nice and quick mobile version of the PC game. Many bugs though. Unable to complete some achievements due to these issues!

I have this game on my PS3 when it came out and I still play it.... Im glad its now on my phone

This is a very poor attempt to make Civ into an app game. It is nothing more than a "crank out masses of troops and throw them at Ghandi and die" game. Ive played every version and remake and clone of Civ since the first one in the 1990s and this is the worst. Even Rise and Rule of Ancient Empires is better.

Most complaints about this game are along the lines of "its not as good as Civilization, the best game ever made." Civ Rev is still an amazing game that makes train commutes disappear.

Now, I am not going to be picket, but this is not the best version. The full version is. But, still good!!!

Ive been a fan of the PC game for years, though I would download this app before sprung for the full version or the 2nd one. Based on this app I will definitely not be paying for the full version. The game play is jumpy and it is very difficult to move around, this could be forgiven, but the AI is a joke, other nations have relations (usually hostile) with you but are totally unaware of other kingdoms. Strategy is what made this series great and it is completely missing from this game. Furthermore, the army function is weakness rather than a strength as one week enemy warrior can take down a three archer veteran army in one attack. All in all an awful game

When I first purchased this app there was no "Lite" and regular version. There was just one paid version. I bought the app, and some in-app purchases such as extra races and units. After playing for a while I deleted the app from my device and figured I could always download it back from the cloud. I tried to do so today only to find that I now own the "Lite" version but can pay $3.99 for the app I originally paid $12 if Id like to download it again. Common theme Im noticing with 2Ks iOS ports. I would not recommend downloading any of their games for this reason...

The game is the best Ive ever played

If youre going to claim a game in Sid Meiers incredible Civilization series, hex tiles are a MUST. Limiting tiles to squares has removed the massive complexity of strategy that made the most recent entries in the series so spectacularly re-playable. That said, this game itself is entertaining and well-made. Would be a 5 star game if there were hexes!

I bought the full version (~$10 or so) when it was out years ago. I recently had to fix and restore my tablet so I figured I would reload the app from the App store. Now I discover that the app is gone, does not appear anywhere and all I own is a brain damaged neutered version instead of the full game. Or I can buy the game AGAIN for an ad filled online only piece of crap. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM, THEY STOLE FROM ALL OF US PREVIOUS OWNERS WITHOUT A SECOND THOUGHT.
